Our Racing Experiences are a fun filled afternoon! We encourage participation, and if you'd like to help out, the crew will talk you through how your interaction will help the boats performance. We do have guests sit back, relax, and enjoy the racing as well.
Upon arrival at the dock, guests will be randomly placed on of our 12 meter sailboats. We will have 2-3 (based off number of reservations) of our vessels racing against each other for this experience.
What to expect:
• Crew assign positions and guests are given instruction.
• Teams practice trimming, gybing and coming about prior to racing.
• Once practice is complete, teams head to the start line. The race course will depend on weather conditions and business of the Bay. The start will be a “rabbit start”.
• We aim for 2-3 races during a Racing Experience.
• Once the day’s racing is complete, enjoy a casual sail back to the docks.
